The Grinding Electro-Permanent Magnet (EPM) is a permanent magnetic plate developed specifically for grinding machines. In contrast to electromagnetic chucks, they do not need to be continuously energized during operation, which saves energy and avoids thermal deformation. The magnetic plate has excellent steel properties and maintain precision. The holding force can be adjusted up to a maximum of 12 N/cm2. In addition to surface grinders, the electro-permanent magnet can also be used in knife grinders, EDM machines, wire cutting machines and other equipment.
